Early Land Patents and Cemetery list for each township
Section 16, School Land Entries for all Townships
Records were abstracted by fractions but some abbreviations were not understood. In some cases there are two Record ID’s for a person or persons, but the parts description is the same. These are “purchasers” of land, not necessarily residents of Jersey County, though there are familiar names in these Early Land Patents.
Table is arranged as the townships are platted in the county.
See Jersey County township map.
