Wife: Cornelia ne BROKAW Gorline born December 16, 1846 near Jerseyville, Jersey County, Illinois. Daughter of Daniel Perhamus BROKAW and Caroline ne TURNER Brokaw.
Son: Henry Spencer Gorline, born January 26, 1871 near Litchfield, Montgomery County, Illinois (lists grandsons and great grandsons).
William James Gorline and Cornelia Brokaw were married at her home December 20th, 1866 in South Litchfield, Montgomery County, Illinois.
Henry Spencer Gorline and Barbara Moore were married at her home October 5th, 1890 near T(?)amalco, Illinois.

William James Gorline died November 22nd, 1923 at his home in Greenville, Illinois.
Henry S. Gorline died Aug 21st, 1946 at his home near Greenville, Illinois.
Cornelia Gorline died May 19, 1930 at her -?- home near Greenville, Illinois.

The story behind this information. A very kind soul and a genealogist was at an auction and purchased a family bible because no one else wanted it. She took the time to locate and send the information to the Jersey County GenWeb in case someone else was looking for it.
Daniel P. Brokaw and Caroline Turner are my GGG-grands. Name Daniel Polhemus Brokaw, born 6 January 1818 in Bound Brook, NJ, he married Caroline Turner 25 Apr 1841; Caroline is the suspected daughter of John and Nancy unknown Turner from England. Caroline was born 15 March 1820 in Hull, England and died 11 March 1902; and Daniel P Brokaw died 13 March1884, both in Litchfield, Illinois. My line is son ISAAC NEWTON BROKAW, born 6 February 1849 in Jersey Co. Illinois, he died 27 July 1908 and is buried at Elmwood cemetery at Litchfield; His grandparents were ABRAHAM I BROKAW and CORNELIA POLHEMUS. Sincerely, Denise.
